Homecorp has successfully launched the first stage of the master planned community, The Pines, achieving more than $7million in sales within the opening weeks.
The Pines Sales Manager Mr Danny Carr said the rapid take up represented the demand for high quality living within the region.
“The Pines is an address like no other. With strong investments in sport and recreation, parks, lakes and open space, The Pines is set to become the benchmark in living within the region.
“We’ve designed The Pines to be a community of over 2,500 people - a place for all ages and families.
Carr pointed out that one of the biggest selling points setting The Pines out from the other estates in the region was the availability of Australia’s fastest available broadband internet.
“Many areas of Yeppoon are internet “Black Spots,” explained Carr.
“The Pines is “Smart Estate,” and has fibre optic wiring to the door which means residents will have plug and play super high speed internet and Foxtel, explained Carr.
“Add to that our master planned approach with various lot sizes, home styles, convenience retail services and over 25 ha of parks and open space and we really have created the best place to live on the coast.”
In August, developers Homecorp Property Group commenced a multi-million dollar infrastructure investment with the construction of the main gateway; the intersection of the Rockhampton Yeppoon Rd and the future The Pines Boulevard.
“It’s been a huge year so far,” reflected Carr.
“In September we opened our new Sales Centre on the Esplanade and during 2015 we plan to be opening the first streets in The Pines, which will include a 12 home Builder Display Village.”
“It will be the largest Builder Display Village ever seen in the Region to the best of my knowledge,” said Carr.
“Over the next 10 years The Pines will help create more than 500 job opportunities for the region and these early sales mark the investment growth scheduled for the coming years.
“Our vision and master plan includes some of the region’s best sporting facilities, parks, open space and housing options,” said Carr.
Homecorp Group is headquartered on the Gold Coast and has been operating across Australia since 2004. Homecorp Group CEO Mr Ron Bakir was named Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year in November 2013.
